The Grade 3, $600,000 Colonial Turf Cup at Colonial Downs in Virginia on Saturday a field of 10 3-year-olds when it was drawn on Monday. Including Court Vision, the victor of two graded recompense as a 2-year-old last year.

The Colonial Turf Cup is the main leg of a four-race series assets $5 shedload in purses and bonuses to any mount who can win all four races. The others are the July 19 Virginia Derby at Colonial, the Aug. 9 Secretariat Stakes at Arlington Park, and the Oct. 5 Breeders’ Cup Turf at Santa Anita Park. Colonial Downs the bonus.

Court Vision, competent by Bill Mott, will be making his first start on meadow in the Colonial Turf Cup. He won the Grade 3 Iroquois and the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes as a 2-year-old, and then varnished in the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth and the Grade 1 Wood Memorial before finishing 13th in the Kentucky Derby.

The field also includes the turf incentive triumph Sporting Art and this year’s Lane’s End Stakes champ, Adriano. Rounding out the field are El Sultry Sun, Your Round, Baltimore Bob, Nistle’s Crunch, Kentucky Bear, Boss Lafitte, and Sailor’s Cap.
